Uncle too fat to ride in helicopter?!?

My uncle was involved in a serious car accident so they sent out a medical helicopter.. he weighs over700 lbs and they had to cut him out of his vehicle (he was in the back of the van .. his wie was driving)... they put him in the helicopter and he weighed so much the helicopter couldnt take off and had a small accident.. messed up the undercarriage.. he died.. and they want his wife to pay to fix the helicopter?!
