Is a pregnant woman eligible for medicaid/medi-cal if she lives with her parents?

I live with my mother in-law, and husband. They will go off the entire income of the house hold, unless you pay rent. If you pay rent, or say you pay rent they will only go off your income. If you are not married, they can't go off the dad's income.
