Why does my ear pierce get infected no matter what type of earrings I wear?

I had this problem. I went to a professional piercer and got it done without that gun (it can't be cleaned properly) and with surgical stainless steel, and had absolutely no problems. I have 6 piercings now. (2 in left ear lobe, one in right ear lobe and a cartilage piercing, my left nostril, and my belly on.) I got them all professionally done and I've had no bad reactions. It will probably cost more to get a professional to perform this, but safety is of importance. I don't know how Claire's is allowed to pierce people legally. In my opinion it's like having a stranger off the streets give me a shot with a needle that have touched everything possible. Yuck! lolz Good luck.
