Double standards: Dress codes?

Women are supposed to have freedom to express themselves, within reason. Men are supposed to always be dressed up. It's this kind of thing right here that makes it hard for me to have sympathy for women and their office wear. At least you don't have to wear long sleeves and pants when it's 102 degrees like men sometimes do. But of course, a man bringing this up is only complaining while a woman who doesn't want to be forced to wear skirts to work is empowered. Yes, that's usually how it works.
