If voting were Compulsory in the USA what affect would this have on the presidential candidates?

I would agree with compulsory elections , IF it the elections were held all on one day ..with all the nominations being held all over the country only the week before the elections.That way we could get a nominee and vote for a winner the next week and not have to hear all the crap we put up with. Excellent idea!
