China Executes Briton Despite Appeals for Mercy?

I understand that this guy had mental health issues - there's no way he should have been executed, -the Chinese are a bunch of barbarians and Gordon brown is a compete wimp. He did absolutely NOTHING on this guy's behalf - just allowed the Chinese to kill him without raising an eyebrow - maybe if the Americans had told him to do something he would have protested, he's just like his predecessor, another American lapdog!!
