No disrespect to Eminem, but why do so many non-wigger whites who say "rap is crap" praise Eminem?

So I was just having a discussion with this white guy at college and he's not a wigger type but more of your average younger white dude. Anyways, we got into talking about music today and he's like "I don't like any rap. I won't listen to that stuff." Then I list some guy's I like, one of them being Eminem and he's like "OPE! Eminem! Well, he's like the ONE rap artist I like!" Mentally, I'm like wtf! Whenever you come across whites who dislike rap music, it should be noted that many of them make exceptions for Eminem. I wonder why that is. Now, I'll be the first to admit, Eminem makes great rap music but as far the being the best; HA!!! It's an invention from the black community. Only the originators can rap the best. Whites need to pay more attention to rock being a crock.
