Please pardon the stupid question and I hope it makes sense, but regarding the fossil record and archeological finds; from where does the additional earth come to continually keep burying prior animal life and societies or is the same/existing top soil just rearranged around the world over time? If the same/existing top soil is merely rearranged over time, would one be able to see the fossil record and archeological finds without digging through dirt in areas of the earth where no top soil was relocated?
