What does it mean when one dreams of crocodiles/ alligators?

I had a dream last night that I was followed by 2 crocs while walking in some sort of park with a pond. In the dream there was someone with me (I couldn't tell who it was) who was not alarmed at all but I jumped on a weird ledge because one of the crocs tried chomping on me. I got a stick and poke it in the eyes but it kept following me...and then I woke up. It sounds so ridiculous but it was pretty scary to me. What did that mean? I'm still shaken by the dream.
