Cryinggg! Advice. Please helppppp meee :'(?

My freshman year i didn't have any friends in my lunch. At least no one i talked to. i ended up sitting at the end of a table where one of the clicks sat that my cousin was in. it was so miserable. i didnt talk to anyone. but atleast i didn't feel completely out there and looking desperate. My advice. find an open seat and sit. what's really gonna happen? they'll leave? yeah right theres no where else to go! good luck!
